Deep ruby with garnet highlights. Fresh plum from the ripe fruit with a hint of sweet vanilla from oak barrels. Smooth and savoury with fine tannins to give a fresh clean finish. This is an easy drinking style with ripe red berry flavours and a hint of liquorice, balanced by just a touch of oak to give complexity.
This flavour is a touch heavier than the pinot, with a hint of spiciness which places it between a pinot and a shiraz. Food match with any red meat, pasta or soft cheeses. Great with a steak.
