The warm, dry 2007 vintage produced fruit of great colour and concentration. The warm ferments benefited from the inclusion of whole bunches and a small percentage of co-fermented viognier. Twelve months of French oak, 25% new has softened the wine and sharpened the focus of the fruit. Aromas of the blackberry and spice over cedary oak. A medium to full-bodied red with substance to age well over the years.
