A very distinct aroma; florals, black pepper, dried herbs, gum honey and redcurrent. A light to medium bodied wine, though with deep colour. The palate flows beautifully from spice and freshly red fruit with a savoury edge, to very fine silky tannins. Graciano is a minor variety in the leading Spanish region of Rioja. It is difficult to grow and late ripening but shows great distinctiveness.
