Located on the deep granite soils of the Yass Plains, Mallaluka is a family run operation born on a mutual background in sciences, a love and appreciation for wine and the craft of winemaking.
Our method involves minimal use of chemicals, open vat fermentation, basket pressing, maturation in oak barrels, and no fining or filtering to produce these premium, hand-made wines of the cool climate Canberra District.
Cherries, spice and mint combined with subtle cedary oak flood the nose and palate. The finish is savoury and dry with clean fruit tannins.
A medium-bodied fruit friendly wine.
