Sommita is Italian for Hilltops which reflects the grape varieties origins in the Piedmont region.æ The 2013 vintage was an exceptional year for growing wine grapes. The rain fell when we needed it and ceased when not required. The sun shone and the result is justifiably shown in this beautiful wine. This wine was made by Bryan Martin who has honed his skills on on other Italian varietals over the past ten years.
Nebbiolo certainly appears to have a found a home in the Hilltops region.æ The last two vintages been multiple trophy award winners.æ Drink now or cellar for up to 10 years and enjoy Grove Estate Terrior.
