This 100% Shiraz wine was made from fruit grown on the Paterson’s family vineyard near Gundagai. The wine was matured in American and French oak barrels for aproximately one year before bottling.
Visual: very dark purple wine indicating youth and concentration
Aroma: Intense savoury dark fruit and French oak
Palate: great fruit weight backed up by a lingering savoury finish
Ageing potential: should reach its peak in a bout 5 years and still be drinking well over 10 yearsæ
Note: store at under 20 deg C for longest life and drink at between 12 “ñ 20 deg C for best wine characteristics
